The Business Opportunity

This is a strategic sales role in a forward-thinking, service-led tech environment – where trusted partnerships, technical excellence, and commercial acumen meet.

You'll be part of a team helping clients modernise, secure, and scale their digital operations — from managed IT and cybersecurity through to bespoke software engineering and cloud transformation projects.

They are known for building deep, consultative relationships with customers and delivering measurable business outcomes through technology.

Your Role: Business Development Manager

You'll lead the charge on new client acquisition, identifying and engaging mid-market and enterprise accounts across key sectors, and positioning high-value IT and digital solutions that solve real-world challenges.

Key responsibilities:

  • Drive new business growth across target sectors through proactive outreach and consultative selling
  • Build and nurture relationships with senior stakeholders (CIO, CTO, IT Directors, and business leaders)
  • Work closely with technical pre-sales and delivery teams to shape compelling value propositions
  • Manage the full sales cycle – from prospecting and qualification through to negotiation and close
  • Contribute to go-to-market strategies and commercial development as the business scales

What You Bring

  • 5+ years' experience in IT services, managed services, or technology consulting sales
  • Proven track record of winning new business and exceeding targets
  • Confident operating within complex, multi-stakeholder sales environments
  • Strong understanding of digital transformation, software development, cloud, or cybersecurity solutions
  • A self-starter mindset – resilient, commercially astute, and motivated by growth
