The Opportunity:
This is the first dedicated new business role in the company.
There is currently:
• No formal sales function
• No lead generation engine
• No structured marketing pipeline
• No enablement infrastructure
We are looking for a proven hunter to build pipeline, create market awareness, and win new enterprise clients.
Target Customers:
Large enterprises and upper mid-market organisations across the UK.
Typical buyers:
• VP / Head of Software Engineering
• Director of Engineering

Deal Profile
• Initial engagements: £50k–£100k
• Typical contract value: £400k–£600k
• Annual wins expectation: 1–3 major deals
Responsibilities
• Identify and win new enterprise customers
• Build pipeline from scratch
• Own the full sales cycle end-to-end
• Engage technical stakeholders credibly
• Position outcome-based delivery models
• Negotiate commercial structures
• Work closely with engineering leadership and delivery teams
Candidate Profile
Essential:
Proven track record selling custom software development or technical consulting services
Experience selling to enterprise engineering leaders
Must be excellent at proactive outreach with minimal support
Demonstrated ability to generate pipeline independently
Experience closing £250k–£1m+ services deals
Technical credibility helpful:
• Java ecosystems
• AWS environments
• Kubernetes / cloud-native architectures
• Legacy modernisation programmes
