The Role
As a Field Service Engineer (EPOS), youll be working on customer sites, travelling daily to complete swap-outs, installations, repairs, and general service work on a range of retail IT devices. Youll typically work between 08:30 and 17:30, including alternate weekends as part of the rota.
This role requires significant driving, so a clean UK driving licence is essential.
What Youll Be Doing
- Deliver on-site swap-out services in line with customer SLAs
- Provide a professional, customer-focused service at all times
- Collect parts from courier depots as required
- Maintain and audit your van stock
- Follow all processes for parts handling, returns and repairs
- Support installation projects as required
- Use the company call management system accurately (web/mobile)
- Complete all paperwork to customer standards
- Follow all documentation, policies and health & safety procedures
- Attend Head Office for meetings/training when required
- Maintain the company vehicle in a legal and roadworthy condition
What Were Looking For
Essential
- Excellent written and verbal English
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Confident handling difficult people/situations
- Good analytical skills
- Working knowledge of Windows & general IT systems
- Experience in field service and/or customer service
- Calm under pressure, positive attitude, professional approach
- Team player
- Smart appearance
- Defensive driving skills
- Clean driving licence (essential)
Desirable
- Technical engineering background
- IT product repair experience
