Job title: Hardware Technician (IoT Devices)

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000

Location: Greenwich

My client is looking for a Hardware Technician, with previous experience IoT Devices. This is a hands-on technical role supporting the configuration, testing and assembly of hardware. You will support customer orders and internal projects, ensuring equipment is prepared, tested and deployed reliably for fleet customers. They are a really lovely team, looking for someone who would like to be part of that team.

Duties:

• Uploading firmware, software and configuration files to devices prior to deployment
• Configuring system settings including network connectivity
• Bench testing devices
• Preparing, labelling and checking equipment
• Maintain records for configured devices
• Testing of faulty electronic devices
• Diagnosing hardware faults
• Assembling wiring harnesses
• Creating wiring diagrams and schematics
• Collaborating with engineering and support teams to ensure device configuration meet customer specification
• Supporting product development through hardware and software testing
• Internal testing for software bugs and hardware faults.
• Supporting engineering activities on-site and off-site.
• Opportunity to assist with CAD work and hardware development.
