The opportunityOur EY EPM team is dedicated to helping clients unlock business value by harnessing the latest SAP innovations. We're looking for directors who are both tech-savvy and business-minded, with a genuine passion for connecting SAP technology to real-world business challenges.

We are looking for technologists who are driven to deliver solutions that truly transform clients' FP&A operations. Key responsibilitiesAs an EY Director, you'll lead project engagements, working directly with clients and EY Partners. You'll be responsible for guiding your team through all parts of a project - from developing new opportunities and identifying value for clients, to designing and delivering solutions. Alongside your client facing role, you'll also be part of the EPM Technology leadership team and play a key role across people leadership.

Your key responsibilities:1. Client Leadership & Delivery OversightAct as senior delivery lead across complex SAC programmes focused on financial planning, ensuring successful outcomes across scope, quality, timeline, and budgetProvide oversight and challenge on solution architecture, ensuring alignment with client enterprise data strategiesManage senior client stakeholders (CFO, CIO, Head of Data/FP&A), acting as a trusted advisorResolve critical delivery risks and escalations across workstreamsEnsure integration across finance, data, and technology domains (e.g. SAC Planning, BDC, Datasphere/Databricks/Snowflake)2. Commercial LeadershipOwn and contribute to sales pipelines, leading pursuits and proposals for EPMShape client propositions around FP&A TransformationLead bid teams, including solutioning, pricing, and commercial structuringDrive revenue growth and margin performance across engagementsIdentify and originate new opportunities within existing client accounts3. Offering & Asset DevelopmentDefine and evolve the EPM offering, including go-to-market propositionsLead development of reusable assetsDrive innovation in areas such as AI-enabled planning and predictive analytics4. Practice & Capability LeadershipBuild and develop the SAC capability, including mentoring junior colleaguesSupport recruitment and workforce planning aligned to growth strategyEstablish delivery standards, methods, and best practices across the practiceFoster a high-performance culture focused on quality, collaboration, and continuous improvement5. Thought Leadership & Market PresenceRepresent the firm externally in client meetings, industry forums, and with alliance partnersContribute to thought leadershipPosition the practice as a leader in SAC and SAP data & analytics solutionsSkills and attributes for successKey skills & experience required: Strong experience delivering SAP Analytics Cloud solutions, focusing on planning use cases (multiple full project lifecycles)Deep understanding of business finance processes and how SAC can be leveraged to support theseAbility to create complex system architectureProven track record of leading large-scale transformation programmesDemonstrated commercial acumen, including sales, pricing, and margin managementStrong stakeholder management at executive levelAbility to lead multidisciplinary teams across functional and technical domainsIdeally, you'll also have: Industry expertise (energy / defence / retail / life sciences)Experience with other EPM tools (SAP BPC / Tagetik / Lumel / Pigment)Experience with consolidation tools (SAP Group Reporting / Tagetik)SAP analytics experience (SAP BW / Datasphere / BDC)What working at EY offersWe offer a competitive remuneration package where you'll be rewarded for your individual and team performance.
