These innovations create opportunities for exceptionally talented individuals to contribute to the success of this evolution, working alongside some of the industry's top professionals and leveraging the very latest technology.Location London (UK ) 2/3 days in OfficeJob Description• Your primary focus will be to manage resource allocation and matching demand including staff and contractors, across multiple locations, lines of business and teams.• Acts as the liaison between project teams who have a demand for specific resources and with Capability Centre (CC) managers around staff capabilities.• Engages with the Sourcing team to source contractors requiring strong communication and collaboration skills.• Quickly earns the trust of sponsors and key stakeholders, opinions valued by business interface, plays a prominent role in stakeholder meetings etc. Resolves conflict and delivers tough messages with grace.• Your analysis and organizational skills will truly make the difference here, as you help drive continuous improvement through effective processes. You'll ably identify current and future skills and capability gaps and produce insights and reporting that will help the IT business achieve its goals and drive optimum performance.More specific duties will include:• Helping to drive quality, availability, and consistency across the resource management data.• Handling the release of resources from assignments.• Working with the IT Sourcing team to source contractors (from request to contract set up).• Managing escalations for respective groups in case of resource allocation issues. • Supporting continuous improvements and other initiatives within the ERM team.Naturally, alongside your technical and analytical expertise, you'll also call on your excellent people skills, acting as liaison between project teams' demand for specific resources and the provision of resources. All the while, nurturing constructive and trusting relationships with a diverse range of, mostly virtual, business stakeholders. Accountabilities general• Manage and support account management face-up for selected resource group to ensure robust technical, functional and domain knowledge is available across the different groups required for that area, typically between 300 and 600 FTE • Through data & analytics, support CC managers/leads to develop a future-proof technical and domain capability in terms of numbers, skills and (re)sourcing channels.Skills and Requirements• We're keen to hear from individuals with a good understanding of IT coupled with previous experience of managing a resourcing and talent planning service. • A proven track record of implementing resourcing and talent strategies and solutions across diverse workforce models will also be useful.• Experience and expertise with a diverse workforce strategy.• Proven stakeholder and relationship management skills. • An ability to be delivery focused and deliver in a maturing business model.• Skilled at supporting and participating in developing effective solutions where broader frameworks might not be in place or be under development.• Experience with resourcing processes (demand validation, allocation, de-allocation, KPI tracking) for large accounts and engagements.• Experience with reporting and analytics of resource data.• An understanding of the disciplines and roles in IT projects and services.Typical Experience• Between 5 years' experience in IT Resource Management or equivalent experience via IT Project management, IT PMO work, Human Resource management or IT Capability Centre management.This needs combining with a positive attitude and an ability to work within a large, globally dispersed project team in a multi-cultural environment. You also need to be a self-starter, a logical thinker and a quick learner, with strong initiative and excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills, able to write clearly and concisely.
