We're supporting a leading London Market insurer in the search for a Data Reporting & Improvement Analyst to join a highly visible team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys analysing complex data, improving reporting processes, and working closely with stakeholders to drive meaningful change

Rather than simply maintaining existing reports, you'll be encouraged to challenge the status quo, identify opportunities for improvement, and help shape how data and reporting processes evolve across the function.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Reviewing and enhancing existing reports and analytical outputs, many of which have been in place for a number of years.
  • Working extensively with SQL to understand how reports are generated and identifying opportunities to streamline, automate and improve reporting processes.
  • Bringing a fresh perspective to existing ways of working, driving efficiencies and recommending process improvements.
  • Developing a strong understanding of data capture processes and data flows to identify and resolve data quality issues.
  • Taking ownership of improving the accuracy, consistency and integrity of underlying data.
  • Supporting the team with day-to-day reporting and analytical activities.
  • Working closely with business stakeholders to ensure reporting solutions and processes meet operational requirements.

We're keen to speak with candidates who have:

  • Strong analytical and reporting experiencgained within the insurance sector and with advanced Excel and SQL skills.
  • Experience improving reporting processes and identifying opportunities for automation.
  • A good understanding of data quality principles and data governance practices.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
