Job Purpose
The overall purpose of this role is to plan, lead, and deliver multiple medium-sized technical or business change projects that form part of the Customer First Transformation Programme. You will ensure that all projects are delivered to the agreed scope, budget, and timescales, meeting both resident and business requirements.
You will manage the end-to-end project delivery lifecycle, from business case development and active delivery through to project closure. Acting as the key link between our operational teams, technical colleagues, and third-party suppliers, you will bring strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to translate business requirements into practical, tangible deliverables.
You will be highly self-motivated, with the discipline to document, track, and drive project outcomes. Equally, you will be a confident collaborator, networker, and relationship builder; someone who’s willing to go the extra mile to get the job done.
This role requires immediate impact and is ideally suited to someone who has worked in Housing, public sector roles, who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is delivery-focused, and comfortable being hands-on with operational teams when required.

Key Responsibilities
1. Project Management
- Proven track record of delivering projects in a range of disciplines including people, processes and technology.
- Experience of managing stakeholders at all levels, including your ability to influence and appropriately challenge the status quo.
- Excellent understanding of how to deliver technology change within an environment where multiple other change projects are happening at the same time.
- Experienced in matrix management of delivery teams.
- Commercial awareness and experience of contracting and managing IT suppliers/ third parties.
- Experienced in the application of multiple project methodologies and able to determine appropriate use of a methodology; select methods and tools, using iterative techniques where appropriate, ensuring that effective project control, change control, risk management and testing processes are maintained.
- Excellent oral and written communications including presentations.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, including MS Project for Planning, Tracking and Reporting.
- Proficient in use of delivery and collaboration tools (i.e. DevOps, SharePoint. MS Teams, Trello etc…)
- Ability to drive, monitor and report on project progress.
- Flexible approach to managing projects, working well under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- Support the senior management team (SMT)/sponsors, ensuring that all plans, work packages and deliverables are aligned to the expected benefits of the programme and the Eastend Homes corporate plan.
2. Stakeholder Engagement
- Build and Maintain Relationships: Develop and sustain effective relationships with internal stakeholders to foster a collaborative approach to project management from initiation stage to implementation.
3. Technology & Systems
- Knowledge of MRI or equivalent. Proven track record of implementing CRMs and housing system modules would be advantageous.
- Work closely with the Business Analyst to identify opportunities to improve the customer journey and smarter systems and automation where appropriate.
- Deep understanding of integration and migration of data and systems, helping improve the business data landscape through the design and implementation of new system related projects.
4. Financial Management
- Develop and manage benefits realisation, maximising return on investment and efficiencies of improved services.
- Experience of budgetary responsibility and track record of delivering value for money.

- Professional qualification in Project Management PRINCE2, APM or similar.
- Educated to degree level or equivalent professional experience
