Eaton Syalon are recruiting on behalf of an innovative and industry leading technology manufacturer. This business delivers cutting-edge assistive audio solutions across a global client base, supporting projects in live environments, commercial installations, and inclusive technology spaces.

This is a brilliant opportunity to join a tight-knit, technically driven team where you’ll play a key role in designing bespoke audio systems, guiding clients on product selection, and supporting the delivery of complex live sound installations.

It is highly desirable that candidates have previous experience working within the audio-visual (AV) industry. An understanding of AV technologies, installations, or live sound environments will give you a strong foundation for this role and help you quickly adapt to the technical requirements and customer expectations.

It is essential that you have a driving license to be considered for the role due to occasional travel.

What the Role Involves:

• Designing bespoke assistive audio and hearing loop systems for a diverse client base
• Advising customers and distributors on product specification and system performance
• Delivering remote technical support and troubleshooting for new and existing systems
• Managing enquiries via phone, email and web chat in a customer-facing capacity
• Preparing detailed design documents, CAD layouts and installation drawings
• Creating technical quotes and proposals in response to tenders and project briefs
• Conducting client meetings, technical training sessions and occasional site visits
• Working closely with internal R&D, sales, and support teams to ensure system compatibility and client satisfaction

Who We’re Looking For:

• A technically minded individual with hands-on experience in audio systems (live, install, or product design environments)
• Someone confident communicating technical concepts to clients and colleagues
• Familiar with CAD tools, audio networking, and basic electrical principles (e.g., Ohm’s Law, impedance)
• Comfortable managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines with precision
• Experience within the building services or construction sector would be advantageous

• Salary: £28,000 – £32,000 depending on experience
• Hours: 37.5 per week, Monday to Friday (core hours 9am – 4pm)
