User Research Specialist – Digital Products, Transformation & AI
📍 Hybrid 3 days office pw (London or Glasgow)
A global professional services organisation is looking for a User Research Specialist to join a growing Digital Experience team working on digital product innovation and AI-enabled services.
You’ll deliver user research across digital products, services and innovation initiatives, helping teams better understand user needs, behaviours and pain points to inform product decisions and service improvements.
Working closely with product managers, designers and cross-functional teams, you’ll conduct research that supports both existing digital products and emerging initiatives, including proof-of-concepts, integrated solutions and new service concepts.
You’ll also contribute to GenAI innovation initiatives, helping teams explore how AI-enabled capabilities can enhance internal tools, knowledge services and digital products while ensuring solutions remain grounded in real user needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver user research across digital products and innovation initiatives
- Conduct qualitative research including interviews, usability testing and discovery research Understand the needs and behaviours of different user groups and stakeholders
- Translate research findings into clear insights and actionable recommendations
- Collaborate with product, design and delivery teams to inform product development
- Support research across new digital initiatives and proof-of-concept projects
- Contribute to GenAI trials and innovation work, exploring how users interact with AI-enabled capabilities
- Help shape the research roadmap and priorities with key stakeholders
What We’re Looking For
- 2–5 years’ experience in User Research roles
- Experience conducting qualitative research (interviews, usability testing, discovery)
- Ability to translate research insights into practical recommendations
- Experience working with product, design or digital teams
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- A portfolio demonstrating research methods and impact
- Experience researching B2B or enterprise digital products
- Experience working in professional services, regulated industries or complex service environments
- Interest in AI, GenAI or emerging technologies
