C# Software Engineer

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a C# Software Developer to join a department to assist with real time simulation and experimentation for advanced weapon system programmes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop real time software components to simulate complex systems
• Integrate hardware and software to create representative synthetic environments
• Support visualisation, experimentation, design, development, verification and validation activities
• Contribute to training system development and distributed simulation capability
• Work across the full engineering lifecycle within an agile scrum environment
• Contribute to configuration control, continuous integration and continuous delivery practices

The ideal candidate would have:

• Experience using software to build hardware solutions or synthetic environments
• Practical software engineering experience
• Experience with unit testing or test driven development
• Experience with agile development practices
• Exposure to continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines

The ideal candidate must have:

• Strong C# software development experience
• Exposure to real time software
• Experience in C++ (advantageous but not essential)
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary engineering environment
