Functional Test Engineer

We are working with a leading telecommunications company based in Cambridge who are looking to a Senior Test Engineer to their growing team. This is a full-time permanent position and offers hybrid working.

• Key responsibilities will include: Testing of software solutions and applications to ensure products meet requirements
• Writing and executing functional, system and performance testing
• Reading and understanding requirements documentation
• Producing and maintaining appropriate documentation
• Designing and maintaining test automation frameworks
• Collaborating with different engineers across the business
• Mentoring junior members of the team

The successful candidate will have:

• Experience in a similar role
• Experience with LTE technologies
• Excellent communication skills
• Solid experience with manual and automation testing
• Excellent problem solving skills
• 4G/5G experience
• Experience with testing frameworks and tools
• Strong knowledge of test automation tools
• ISTQB certification (desirable)
