Senior Hardware Test Engineer

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a self-driven individual to use their knowledge and expertise to implement a structured Test Philosophy for current and future products.

This is a highly visible role, providing the opportunity to collaborate across and network with a wide range of different business areas.

Job Title: Hardware Test Verification Architect

Salary: Circa £55,000 depending on experience

Dynamic (hybrid) working: Where possible, a blended approach to on-site and remote working will be accommodated depending on workload classification.

Security Clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship.

Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS).

The opportunity:

This unique role offers a broad view of development and manufacturing processes through interaction with multiple disciplines on projects and programmes.

You will join a motivated, focused, and multi-disciplined team that values communication and knowledge sharing, committed to continuous improvement and people development.

You’ll lead the implementation of the Production Test Philosophy within a Programme, including:

• Defining Test Equipment Requirements for products

• Deploying diagnostic strategies for production

• Verifying Test Coverage of current and future products to meet customer needs

• Collaborating with Manufacturing and Production Design Support teams on Production Test activities

As a domain expert, you will share your knowledge across project teams and peers.

The ideal candidate would ideally have:

• Ideally degree qualified or equivalent experience in Mathematics, Physics or Engineering

• Experience and awareness of Development and Production Test Techniques and implementation

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with strong communication skills

The ideal candidate must have:

• Knowledge of structured Model-Based System Engineering (MBSE) techniques

• Experience developing and implementing test strategies and Automated Test Equipment for new products

• Some experience collaborating with Manufacturing and Design teams
