IT Manager

A great opportunity has opened up with an employer in Hemel Hempstead to join them as their IT Manager.

The IT Manager is responsible for the operational management of all IT systems, services, infrastructure, and security across the organisation.

This is an office based role, which also includes weekend remote on call support on a rota basis.

Healthcare industry experience is desirable.

Responsibilities of the IT Manager to include:

• Support the creation and execution of IT strategy, policies, and long-term roadmaps.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, information governance, and cybersecurity frameworks including DSPT, Cyber Essentials, Cyber Essentials Plus and ISO27001.
• Oversee risk management, vulnerability management, audit responses, cyber assessments, penetration testing, third-party risk management, and business continuity activities.
• Oversee end-to-end IT service delivery, ensuring efficient 1st to 3rd line support within a 24/7/365 environment.
• Maintain IT asset lifecycle processes, including acquisition, deployment, decommissioning, secure destruction and record-keeping.
• Oversee IT-related building systems such as CCTV, access control, alarms, and fire safety systems.
• Ensure IT considerations are embedded in wider H&S processes, audits, and facilities management.

What we are looking for:

• A bachelors degree in Computer Science or similar
• A minimum of 5 years experience in an IT technical role with leadership experience.
• Strong background across infrastructure, cloud, networking, cybersecurity, and systems administration.
• Healthcare industry experience is desirable
