2nd Line Support Engineer

Job Title: 2nd Line Support Engineer
Location: On-site - Kings Cross, London
Rate: £206 per day (Umbrella)
Contract: 3-Month Rolling Contract
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

We are seeking a skilled 2nd Line Support Engineer to join our team on a fully on-site basis in Kings Cross. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced support professional with strong knowledge of Windows 11 configuration to work in a fast-paced IT environment.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 2nd line technical support to end users, both hardware and software-related issues

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows 11 configuration

  • Escalate unresolved issues to 3rd line support when necessary

  • Manage user tickets and document solutions in the service desk system

  • Assist with user onboarding/offboarding, system setups, and device management

  • Some 1st line support duties


Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a 2nd Line Support role

  • Strong expertise in configuring and supporting Windows 11

  • Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work independently on-site and manage multiple priorities
