Senior Data Programme Manager

Initial 6-month contract - Senior Data Programme Manager - Incredible opportunity with a global market leading brand.

Must have a strong track record of successfully delivering quality programme management in complex, multi-vendor, cross functional and market environments, for applications of significant size and value (£40m+) and over 5 years as a Senior Delivery Manager, or other senior project management role. Global experience highly preferred.

Role Summary

• Have extensive experience working across data transformation programmes including but not limited to MDM, Provisioning, Migration and Analytics.
• Ensure alignment of data programme plans and initiatives with the wider programme plans.
• Oversee the delivery of multiple data delivery work streams ensuring alignment and collaboration both within the data elements of the plan but also with the wider programme plans.
• Lead the planning, execution, and governance of complex data and technology programmes spanning multiple teams, partners, domains, and Value Streams.
• Ensure alignment of programme delivery with organisational strategy, focusing on business outcomes and value realisation.
• Drive data transformation initiatives, enabling scalable and sustainable delivery practices across the organisation.
• Act as the primary point of contact for data related programme-level communication and decision-making.

Technical Capabilities

• Knowledge of data platforms, data services and systems architecture
• Experience managing complex data programmes and aligning plans with wider teams.
• Experience with multiple delivery processes and methodologies, both Agile and Waterfall, and the ability to identify the best tools and processes to support delivery needs.
• Leadership in a multi-vendor environment, managing third parties to time, outcome, and budget, with the confidence to hold them accountable throughout the delivery cycle.
• Experienced in creating and managing programme plans and associated RAIDD profiles across multiple teams and complex programmes of work.
• Collaborate with technical architects and delivery teams to align programme deliverables with enterprise technology strategies.
• Ensure technical solutions are robust, scalable, and aligned with the organisation's future state.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and integrate relevant innovations into programme strategies.
• Ensure seamless integration of technologies across multiple platforms and business domains.
• Champion DevOps and CI/CD practices to enhance speed and quality of delivery.
