Business Intelligence Developer - Insurance
We are currently partnering with a Market Leading Speciality Insurance company to recruit a Business Intelligence Developer. The successful candidate will be leveraging Business Intelligence and analytics across the group, focused on building innovative and effective BI solutions to harness the power of data to gain a competitive edge.The following information provides an overview of the skills, qualities, and qualifications needed for this role.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs, challenges, and opportunities related to business intelligence.
- Design and develop dashboards, reports, and analytics tools that deliver actionable insights.
- Take ownership of stakeholder relationships and deliver BI solutions that align with business objectives.
- Solve business problems by leveraging BI tools and data-driven approaches.
- Continuously enhance the BI offering in line with evolving business requirements.
- Work with third-party vendors to support BI-related systems, tools, or services.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all BI outputs and processes.
- Champion the value of BI across the organisation, promoting its strategic importance.
The ideal candidate should have:
- Experience delivering BI solutions within the Insurance industry, preferably Lloyd's/London market.
- A degree or equivalent in Computer Science or a related field.
- Proficient experience with Power BI, DAX, SQL Server, SSIS and SSRS.
