Business Support Technician - Insurance
We are partnering with a growing Insurance MGA who are seeking to hire a Business Support Technician. Reporting to the COO you will provide effective and efficient technical and administrative business support through analysing the best ways to support and grow the business.
Key Responsibilities
Preparing Commercial Dashboards and MI reports, conducting ad hoc premium trend analysis, and resolving system issues impacting workflows. You will also be responsible for maintaining data quality, managing company-wide Learning & Development (L&D) training, and providing front-line support to brokers and clients.
The role requires close collaboration with internal teams and external system providers, as well as involvement in office administration, business continuity support, and regulatory compliance. A strong understanding of FCA requirements and a commitment to ongoing professional development are essential.
This is a varied role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working across multiple business functions.
Education / Qualifications
• Minimum 5 GCSEs including Maths and English
• A numerical degree would be beneficial but not essential
• Qualification in data related fields desirable.

• Experience of working in an insurance role (Desirable)
• Strong focus on customer service and system improvements
• Proven ability to cultivate effective relationships within a team environment
• Skilled in managing workflow efficiently
• Capable of rapidly identifying potential issues and seeking appropriate guidance as necessary
• Data Analysis & Reporting – Using Excel, Power BI, or Tableau to interpret data and create reports.
• Problem-Solving & Critical Thinking – Ability to assess business challenges and propose effective solutions.
• Ability to also work independently.
