IT Technician

Location: South Buckinghamshire

Salary: £28K neg Pro Rata

Contract: 1-2 months initially

We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic IT Technician to join our school ICT team. You will provide day-to-day technical support to staff and students, helping to ensure the smooth operation of the school's IT systems and classroom technology.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to IT support requests via ticket, email, and telephone.
• Troubleshoot basic hardware, software, printing, and network issues.
• Set up and maintain PCs, laptops, tablets, and other devices.
• Support both Microsoft 365 and Google Education user accounts, passwords, and access requests.
• Assist with classroom technology, interactive displays, and AV equipment.
• Install software updates and maintain IT equipment records.
• Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff when required.
• Deliver excellent customer service to staff and students.

What We're Looking For:

• Good knowledge of Windows and Microsoft 365 of Google Chromebooks
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• A customer-focused approach with a willingness to learn.
• An enhanced DBS check, ideally on the update service.
