DevOps Engineer (Chinese Speaking)

Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing, managing, and automating scalable, resilient, and secure infrastructure solutions. You will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between software development and IT operations, ensuring efficient delivery of high-quality applications and services.

Key Responsibilities:

Infrastructure Automation and Deployment:

  • Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate code deployment across multiple environments.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
  • Lead the design, deployment, and day-to-day management of Kubernetes clusters, which serve as the core foundation of our application platform. Ensure robust orchestration, scaling, and maintenance of containerized workloads.

System Monitoring and Maintenance:

  • Set up and maintain monitoring, alerting, and logging systems using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.
  • Optimize system performance and reliability, ensuring high availability of infrastructure and applications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues across development, test, and production environments,with a strong focus on containerized and Kubernetes-based systems.

Cloud Management:

  • Architect and manage scalable solutions on cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Optimize cloud costs and ensure infrastructure security best practices are followed.
  • Integrate Kubernetes workloads with cloud-native services to achieve seamless scalability and resilience.

Collaboration and Continuous Improvement:

  • Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to define requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Foster a DevOps culture by advocating for automation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Provide guidance on Kubernetes-related best practices and support teams in adopting container-first workflows.

Security and Compliance:

  • Implement security best practices, including vulnerability scanning, patch management, and secrets management.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, such as GDPR, HIPAA, or ISO 27001.
  • Apply security hardening and governance to Kubernetes clusters, ensuring safe and compliant workload execution.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or related roles.
  • Proficiency with scripting and programming languages (e.g., Python, Bash, or Go).
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI.
  • Strong knowledge of version control systems like Git.
  • Expertise in containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
  • Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, ELK Stack).

Nice to Have:

  • Certification in cloud platforms (AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Expert, etc.).
  • Experience with service mesh technologies (Istio, Linkerd).
  • Knowledge of database and storage technologies (SQL, NoSQL, S3, etc.).
  • Exposure to microservices architecture and related tools.
