Due to continued expansion, we're recruiting an experienced Technical Sales & Design Engineer to work within a dynamic team, implementing knowledge of Sales, Engineering, CAD and SolidWorks within the working practices of the department for our well established client. 

Job Duties: 

• Prepare accurate costings from initial enquiries.
• CAD Drawing. 
• Lease with suppliers if required for prices.
• SolidWorks Drawings. 
• BOM production and Cost-analysis. 
• Customer Liaison. 
• A level of project management. 
• Product development, design & continual improvement. 
• Attendance to site and or of customer facilities for project discussion when required.
• Attendance to project sites to carry out site measures using survey equipment.
• To partake in suitable training when required. 

Requirements: 

• IT proficient with experience in CAD and SolidWorks.
• Sales background (to some extent). 
• A degree or HNC/HND in an engineering discipline (Not essential but an advantage). 
• Previous experience in an engineering environment. 
• Personable, presentable, and articulate. 
• A sound understanding of manufacturing, engineering/fabrication principles.
• Strong administration, organization, and communication skills.
• Experience in site surveying (Not essential but an advantage). 

The salary for this position will be negotiable.

Working hours: Monday to Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm. 

This is a Full time, Permanent position.
