Lead electronic sub-system design in the defence & aerospace sector, taking complex engineering products from concept through to production. This opportunity offers technical leadership responsibility across the full product lifecycle.

Responsibilities
- Lead a team of engineers delivering electronic sub-system design and technical definition.
- Guide development from early feasibility and technology assessment through detailed design, qualification and certification.
- Support the transition of products into production, ensuring quality, cost and delivery requirements are met.
- Work with manufacturing, mechanical design and other engineering teams to resolve technical challenges and maintain progress.
- Coordinate technical activities, manage stakeholders and oversee delivery against agreed plans and budgets.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of technical requirements, product configuration and lifecycle management.
- Ability to lead, develop and motivate engineers while managing competing priorities.
- Experience planning and controlling engineering work packages, budgets and delivery schedules.
- Confidence working with stakeholders across engineering, manufacturing and other business functions.
- A relevant degree is desirable, alongside substantial experience in electronic design and product development.
- British nationality is required for this opportunity.
