Salary: Circa £42,000–£50,000 depending on experience
Stevenage or Bristol – hybrid working: 3-4 days per week on-site
Take ownership of software testing for complex defence simulation systems, shaping integration and validation processes that ensure high-quality outcomes.
You will be well-rewarded at this established defence company that produces military weapons systems with bonuses, annual salary reviews, paid overtime and so forth.
You will ensure the quality, functionality and performance of advanced simulation systems.
The Role
- Plan, conduct and report end-to-end software testing and proving for simulation product
- Lead technical investigations into software defects and emergent behaviours
- Support software integration, trials and demonstrations with engineering partners
- Analyse logs and data to demonstrate compliance with requirements
About You
- You must hold British Citizenship due to security clearance requirements
- Experience in systems proving, functional or software testing, or verification and validation
- Software testing experience working on products
- Knowledge of Agile Scrum methodologies
- Familiarity with GitLab, Jenkins, Python scripting, JIRA, IBM PLM/ALM/ETM/Doors
- Understanding of software test automation, CI/CD pipelines, and simulation/emulation environments
- ISTQB: Software testing certifications
