Commercial/Construction Solicitor

We are looking for an experienced Commercial or Construction Solicitor to provide legal support across a range of strategically important construction, infrastructure and commercial projects.

Location: Farringdon – 2 days per week

Duration: 5-month FTC

Key Requirements

• Qualified solicitor with a valid practising certificate in the UK.
• Around 5 years PQE, although candidates with relevant experience outside this range will be considered.
• Strong experience in construction and/or commercial contracts.
• Experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating complex commercial and construction agreements.
• NEC/NEC4 experience highly desirable.
• Experience with IT contracts, professional services, supply and service agreements is advantageous.
• Experience in utilities, infrastructure, energy or public procurement is desirable.
• Ability to advise on contract interpretation and disputes.
• Strong commercial awareness with the ability to provide pragmatic, business-focused legal advice.
• Comfortable working independently and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with confidence advising senior managers and directors.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• In-house experience is preferred but not essential.
