1st Line IT Support Analyst Location: Beeston, Leeds Salary: £25,000 - £28,000
Elevation Tech & Transformation are recruiting on behalf of a Leeds-based organisation in Beeston who are looking to strengthen their internal IT service function with an enthusiastic 1st Line Service Desk Analyst.
This opportunity is well suited to someone who enjoys helping people, has a natural interest in technology, and is looking to develop a long-term career in IT within a structured business environment.
You will play a key role in ensuring colleagues across the organisation receive timely, effective technical support, acting as the front line of the IT team and helping keep day-to-day operations running smoothly.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Providing front-line IT assistance to internal users across the business
- Managing support requests from initial contact through to resolution
- Diagnosing everyday technical issues across desktops, applications, and connectivity
- Supporting users with Microsoft 365, Windows environments, and standard business tools
- Passing more complex issues to specialist teams where necessary
- Maintaining accurate system records and contributing to service documentation
- Delivering a positive user experience through clear, professional communication
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
- A customer-focused mindset with strong communication skills
- An interest in IT and technology with the desire to build practical experience
- Ability to approach problems logically and follow support processes
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
Desirable:
- Experience in a service desk, IT support, or customer service role
- Exposure to user administration (e.g. password resets, basic account management)
- Familiarity with ticketing or service management systems
