AI Engineer

Up to £110,000 + Benefits | Yorkshire or London - Hybrid working with c10 days per month based at either location.

Elevation Tech & Transformation are working with a well-established, highly respected business that has created a new AI Enablement team to help shape how AI is adopted across the organisation.

This isn't a traditional software engineering role.

You won't spend your time working through a ticket queue or maintaining legacy systems.

Instead, you'll work directly with users to identify opportunities, rapidly prototype solutions and build AI-powered products that solve real business problems.

The environment is deliberately small, highly autonomous and built for engineers who enjoy experimenting, learning quickly and pushing boundaries.

We're looking for somebody who:

• Has strong TypeScript / Node.js engineering experience

• Has built and deployed production systems in AWS

• Is already using modern AI tooling as part of their day-to-day workflow

• Understands concepts such as agentic workflows, RAG architectures and LLM-powered applications

• Thrives in ambiguity and enjoys solving complex problems

• Is naturally curious and excited by emerging technology
