Applications Platform Manager – Microsoft Dynamics & CRM Platforms

Role Purpose:

The Applications Platform Manager is responsible for the strategic management, optimization, and operational delivery of Microsoft Dynamics and CRM platforms across the organization. This role ensures that the platforms are aligned with business objectives, secure, scalable, and deliver maximum value to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Platform Strategy & Governance
    • Develop and maintain the roadmap for Microsoft Dynamics and CRM platforms.
    • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, licensing agreements, and data protection regulations.
    • Establish governance frameworks for platform usage and customization.
  • Operational Management
    • Oversee day-to-day administration, configuration, and performance monitoring of Dynamics and CRM systems.
    • Manage upgrades, patches, and integrations with other enterprise applications.
    • Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans are in place.
  • Stakeholder Engagement
    • Collaborate with business units to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
    • Act as the primary liaison between IT, vendors, and internal teams for platform-related initiatives.
  • Team Leadership
    • Lead and mentor a team of application specialists and developers.
    • Allocate resources effectively to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Innovation & Continuous Improvement
    • Identify opportunities to leverage new features and emerging technologies within Microsoft Dynamics ecosystem.
    • Drive automation and process optimization initiatives.

Skills & Requirements:

  • Proven experience managing Microsoft Dynamics 365 and CRM platforms.
  • Strong understanding of system architecture, integrations, and API frameworks.
  • Knowledge of Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate) is highly desirable.
  • Experience with Contact Centre as a Service (CCaaS) platforms and integrations.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage third-party vendors.
  • Experience in delivering large-scale platform upgrades and migrations.
  • Familiarity with Agile and ITIL methodologies.
