A growing, ambitious business in the Doncaster area is looking for an Automation & Modern Workplace Specialist to play a central role in its digital evolution. This is a genuinely impactful opportunity for a technically strong professional who enjoys working closely with the business to drive real, measurable change.
Reporting to the Head of IT, you’ll lead on automation, Power Platform, SharePoint, and data visualisation - helping the organisation move away from manual processes and towards smarter, more connected ways of working.
What You’ll Be Doing:-
Automation & Process Improvement
- Design, build, and maintain automated workflows using Power Automate and related tooling
- Identify and eliminate manual processes across the business
- Implement governance frameworks and best practices for automation at scale
- Work with stakeholders to define, map, and optimise key business processes
Modern Workplace
- Manage and develop the existing SharePoint environment
- Drive adoption of collaboration tools and improve information sharing
- Implement governance, structure, and permissions across Microsoft 365
- Support migration and transformation into modern workplace solutions
Data & Reporting
- Design and build real-time dashboards and reports using Power BI
- Translate business requirements into clear, meaningful data visualisations
- Connect and model data from multiple sources
Stakeholder Engagement
- Partner with business teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions
- Train and support end users on tools and capabilities
- Act as the internal subject matter expert for automation and modern workplace technology
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
- Strong hands-on experience with Power Automate, Power Apps, or similar automation tooling
- Proven delivery of automation solutions in a real business environment
- Experience creating dashboards and reports, ideally with Power BI
- Solid understanding of Microsoft 365 and Azure
- Confident gathering requirements and translating them into business-focused solutions
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Desirable:
- Knowledge of data modelling principles
- Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Sales, F&O, or Supply Chain)
- Experience working in a digital transformation or change programme
- Understanding of governance, security, and compliance within M365 environments
