Business Analyst

M&A Integrations Business Analyst Sheffield (Hybrid) | 9-Month Fixed-Term Contract

Elevation Recruitment Group is working exclusively with a growing Sheffield-based business to recruit an M&A Integrations Business Analyst.

With an active acquisition pipeline, this is an opportunity to play a key role in delivering complex integration projects. You'll work at the heart of business change, helping to shape how newly acquired businesses are successfully integrated into the wider organisation.

Working alongside the Integration Project Manager, you will:

• Define and document Target Operating Models (TOMs) across processes, systems, data, organisation and culture.
• Analyse and map current-state processes within acquired businesses before designing future-state operating models.
• Translate integration objectives into clear business requirements, process maps and system change specifications.
• Facilitate cross-functional workshops with stakeholders across the business.
• Identify and manage dependencies across multiple integration and transformation workstreams.
• Ensure integration decisions align with the wider change portfolio and minimise downstream impacts.
• Contribute to the ongoing development of the organisation's integration playbook, improving the approach with every acquisition.

You'll have:

• Proven Business Analyst experience within complex transformation, integration or change programmes.
• Strong end-to-end process mapping experience using BPMN or a similar methodology.
• Experience defining and documenting Target Operating Models (TOMs).
• The ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives and identify cross-programme dependencies.
• Confidence facilitating workshops with senior stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical, documentation and communication skills.

It would be advantageous if you also have:

• Experience supporting post-merger or post-acquisition integrations.
• Exposure to IT services, telecommunications or technology-enabled businesses.
• Knowledge of ERP, CRM, billing or finance systems integration.
• A recognised Business Analysis qualification, such as BCS, IIBA or equivalent.
