Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a leading manufacturing business in Sheffield who are looking for a Business Systems Lead to take ownership of their SAP ERP platform, driving system support, optimisation, and continuous improvement.
What’s on offer:
- Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 (dependant on experience)
- 33 days holidays including bank holidays + 3 days Christmas leave

What the Business Systems Lead role involves:
- Leading functional support across SAP, including Finance, Materials Management, Production Planning, and Sales & Distribution
- Acting as the go-to point for complex ERP issues and cross-functional challenges.
- Identifying opportunities to improve ERP-enabled processes and coordinating system enhancements
- Supporting ERP integrations, interfaces, and ensuring consistent, high-quality data
- Working closely with stakeholders to maximise the value of SAP and promote best-practice system usage
- Contributing to ERP strategy and roadmap development, supporting transformation initiatives, and capturing system knowledge for continuity
Key Skills & Experience required:
- Strong experience supporting SAP or similar ERP systems in manufacturing, supply chain, or distribution environments
- Functional expertise across key ERP processes: finance, procurement, production, and sales
- Experience with integrations, interfaces, and working with business stakeholders to deliver system improvements
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- A proactive, improvement-focused mindset and the ability to work independently
- ABAP experience is desirable but not essential
