We are working with a successful manufacturing company based in Mexborough to recruit for a Customer Service candidate to join the team!The Role As Customer Service Advisor, you will play a key part in supporting customers with technical product enquiries via phone and live chat. You will act as a first point of contact, ensuring all queries are dealt with professionally and accurately. Responsibilities include:

  • Handling inbound calls and live chat queries, offering clear advice and guidance

  • Providing technical support on products and services to customers and colleagues

  • Logging queries, tracking progress and ensuring timely resolutions

  • Building strong relationships with customers by delivering excellent service

  • Working closely with internal departments to resolve technical issues efficiently

  • Maintaining accurate records of all customer interactions and enquiries

The Person The successful Customer Service Advisor will have:

  • Experience in a customer service role within a technical or manufacturing environment

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly

  • Confidence in using phone and live chat systems

  • Good IT skills with the ability to learn new systems quickly

  • Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail

  • A team-focused, professional approach to supporting both customers and colleagues
