Data Analyst

Elevation Recruitment Group seeking a talented and experienced Data Analyst to join our client’s dynamic BI team.

** Hybrid working – 3 days office, 2 days home – Normanton **

As a Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in extracting insights from our client’s data to drive informed decision-making and optimise business processes.

Key duties & responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into data analysis tasks
• Develop and maintain SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyse data from various databases
• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to visualise key metrics and trends
• Perform ad-hoc data analysis to support business needs and identify opportunities for improvement
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements and provide analytical support for projects and initiatives

We are keen to speak with Data professionals who possess the following skills & experience:

• Proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role
• Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights
• Experience with Power BI or similar business intelligence tools for data visualisation, such as QlikView
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
