Data & Analytics Manager Sheffield – Hybrid (3 days in, 2 days home)
£45,000 - £65,000 DEO + excellent benefits

Working closely with teams across finance, people, marketing and wider business functions, you’ll champion data-driven decision making, raise data literacy and ensure insights directly support our long-term goals.

What you’ll be doing
- Shape how data is approached across the organisation, establishing effective reporting frameworks and driving a culture where analytics plays a central role.
- Build a deep understanding of the data systems and structures, contributing ideas that enhance efficiency and quality.
- Deliver dashboards, reports and advanced analysis that bring clarity to stakeholders at all levels.
- Align data outputs with commercial KPIs, offering clear commentary on performance and progress.
- Support strong governance and data ethics, ensuring compliance and responsible data use.
- Lift data literacy across non-technical teams, providing coaching, guidance and practical support.
- Contribute analytics expertise to group-wide projects, tracking outcomes and ensuring value is delivered.
- Actively engage in cross-functional meetings and initiatives, offering insight-led recommendations.
- Support the preparation of data and reports for external stakeholders.
Skills & Experience:
- Advanced Excel capability.
- Proven ability to create dashboards and data visualisations using established tools.
- Experience transforming data, building structured datasets and managing data pipelines.
- Skilled at gathering requirements and guiding stakeholders on analytic best practices.
- High numerical confidence and experience working with large, complex datasets.
- Clear, accessible reporting skills with the ability to tailor insight to different audiences.
- A detail-focused, methodical approach with strong accuracy.
- Ability to work independently, taking initiative and managing workload effectively.
- Strong commercial and financial awareness.
- Exposure to varied datasets across multiple business domains.
- Experience with systems such as D365.
