ERP / Business Systems Manager
Elevation Tech & Transformation are exclusively supporting a key client, an international manufacturing business in Wakefield who are looking to recruit an ERP Systems Manager.
Wakefield – Predominantly Site based – Travel requiredSalary: £55,000 - £60,000
This is a brand-new role, and as the business continues to grow, they require a talented ERP / Business Systems Manager to oversee the optimisation and maintenance of their Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
As the ERP Systems Manager you will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless functioning, enhancement and integration of the ERP systems. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align business processes with system capabilities, driving efficiency and productivity throughout our manufacturing operations.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Lead the configuration, customization and ongoing maintenance of the ERP system to meet the unique needs of the manufacturing environment
- Work closely with operations, supply chain and finance teams to identify system requirements, streamline processes and improve data accuracy
- Manage the implementation of ERP system upgrades, patches and enhancements, ensuring minimal disruption to production schedules
- Develop and implement data management strategies to ensure the integrity, accuracy and security of manufacturing-related data
- Provide training and support to end-users, including production staff and supervisors, to optimise system utilisation and effectiveness
- Monitor system performance, identify issues and implement solutions to ensure uninterrupted manufacturing operations
We are keen to speak with ERP/Business System experts who possess the following skills & experience:
- Proven experience of managing ERP systems in a manufacturing/logistics environment, with knowledge of industry-specific modules such as production planning, inventory management, and quality control
- Strong technical proficiency in ERP system configuration, customisation and integration, with experience in platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Epicore or Microsoft Dynamics.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities, particularly in identifying and resolving manufacturing process inefficiencies
- SQL and script-writing skills and experience
