ERP Superuser

ERP Systems Superuser

Location: Hull (on-site) | Salary: £34,000 – £39,000 (DOE)

Our client is a well-established UK manufacturer known for quality, innovation, and strong customer service. They're in the process of rolling out a new Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP system (Finance & Supply Chain Management, Field Service, and Power BI), replacing a long-standing legacy system and they're now looking for an ERP Systems Superuser to join the Production and Manufacturing function.

The Role

This is a great opportunity to become the local go-to expert for a brand-new ERP system, right at the point of go-live. You'll play a key role in making sure the system is adopted effectively, processes run smoothly, and colleagues have the support they need to get the most out of it.

Working closely with the IT Business Analyst team, you'll own the health of end-to-end process flow within D365 for Production and Manufacturing, using data and insight to spot bottlenecks, resolve issues, and drive continuous improvement.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Acting as the first point of contact for ERP-related queries within Production and Manufacturing
  • Monitoring and troubleshooting system activity, including batch jobs (works order creation/completion), costing, production and inventory processes, and asset statuses
  • Investigating and resolving data quality, configuration, and transaction issues, escalating complex problems to the Business Analyst team where needed
  • Supporting training, onboarding, and ongoing coaching for system users
  • Promoting strong transactional discipline and best practice across the team
  • Supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for system updates and enhancements
  • Acting as the key link between the business and IT for system issues, improvements, and change

What We're Looking For

  • Good understanding of business processes within a Manufacturing or Production environment
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems ideally Microsoft Dynamics 365, though experience with other ERP platforms will be considered
  • Experience acting as a "go-to" person for system or process queries, supporting colleagues day-to-day
  • Strong communicator, comfortable explaining system processes to non-technical users
  • Analytical mindset with a logical approach to problem-solving
  • High attention to detail and a focus on data accuracy and process compliance
  • Experience with ERP implementations, upgrades, or process improvement projects is desirable but not essential — junior candidates keen to develop into the role are welcome to apply

Why Apply

This is a rare chance to get in at ground level on a major systems transformation, shaping how a brand-new ERP platform is used across a large manufacturing operation with genuine scope to develop your skills and grow into the role!
