This is a high-impact leadership role, responsible for shaping and executing the end-to-end Amazon strategy, managing a catalogue of over 2,500 products (Global Knives and other ranges), and driving revenue growth through operational excellence, strategic planning, and data-led decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of direct Amazon experience, ideally across multiple product categories, and will be able to demonstrate a strong track record of significantly increasing Amazon and 3rd party marketplace platform sales through practical, measurable strategies.

Responsibilities:

Strategy & Growth

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive Amazon growth strategy across both Vendor Central and Marketplace models, with a particular focus on launching and growing the Global Knives range on Seller Central.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive 3rd party marketplace growth strategy
  • Continuously analyse category trends, customer behaviour, competitor positioning and search rankings to identify opportunities for sales acceleration.
  • Set performance targets and KPIs; report on sales performance, traffic, conversion rates, and ad spend ROI.
  • Use tools such as Brand Analytics, Helium 10, or Jungle Scout to inform decisions on pricing, keywords, content optimisation, and sales performance.

Catalogue & Product Management

  • Oversee the Amazon catalogue of over 2,500 products, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all listings (titles, bullet points, descriptions, A+ content, keywords, etc.).
  • Ensure discontinued products are delisted in a timely manner and new products are launched efficiently.
  • Work with product, design and content teams to ensure all assets (images, videos, copy, infographics) are optimised to Amazon's best practices.

Team Leadership & Collaboration

  • Manage and support a small team responsible for content creation, listing maintenance, stock accuracy, and order processing.
  • Provide clear direction, training and development to team members to continuously raise performance standards.
  • Collaborate with internal departments including logistics, marketing, finance and customer service to ensure alignment and consistency in Amazon operations.

Operational Excellence

  • Ensure seamless execution of the Vendor Central model, including purchase order processing, chargeback reduction, and on-time fulfilment.
  • Build out and optimise the Seller Central marketplace model - set up infrastructure, processes, and fulfilment workflows (FBA and/or FBM).
  • Maintain accurate stock levels and minimise out-of-stock rates or excessive inventory holding.

Advertising & Promotions

  • Own the Amazon Advertising strategy and budget across Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and DSP (if applicable).
  • Run promotional campaigns (e.g., Deals, Coupons, Prime Day planning) to increase visibility and conversions.
  • Monitor and optimise ad performance for efficient spend and maximum ROI.

The ideal candidate would have:

  • Minimum 5 years' hands-on experience managing Amazon Vendor and/or Seller Central accounts.
  • Proven ability to drive significant sales growth and improve profitability on Amazon through strategic planning and execution.
  • Strong commercial acumen - understands margins, demand forecasting, promotional mechanics, and contribution profit.
  • Experience managing a large and complex product catalogue (1,000+ SKUs).
  • Solid understanding of Amazon's algorithms, keyword strategy, advertising solutions, and product ranking factors.
  • Experience managing and mentoring small to medium-sized teams.
  • Proficiency in Excel, data analysis tools, and Amazon-specific software (e.g., Vendor Central, Seller Central, Brand Registry, Advertising Console).
  • Exceptional project management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise.
