IT Project Manager

Elevation Recruitment Group's Technology & Transformation division is proud to be partnering exclusively with a highly successful, multi-site business in South Yorkshire - a household name in its sector - to appoint an experienced IT Project Manager to their growing delivery function.

This is a rare opportunity to take genuine end-to-end ownership of business change. Unlike many PM roles where projects arrive pre-packaged, here you'll be involved from the very first conversation - working directly with the business to shape requirements, building the plan, securing your resources, and carrying delivery all the way through training, transition into service and benefits realisation. Your projects will be varied, largely one-off, and central to how the business evolves: business change first, with technology underneath.

You'll operate within a refreshingly flat structure, reporting into a supportive Senior Project Manager, with regular direct exposure to divisional leadership. This is a business that backs its project managers with real autonomy - and expects real ownership in return.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Leading multiple concurrent business and technology change projects from concept through to benefits realisation
• Facilitating front-end requirements gathering and business analysis with stakeholders at all levels
• Building and maintaining robust plans, RAID logs and governance documentation within a structured framework
• Managing budgets, suppliers and cross-functional resources across a multi-site organisation
• Presenting to, influencing and constructively challenging senior leadership
• Owning training, service transition and post-implementation benefits measurement

To be successful, you'll need:

• Demonstrable experience delivering multiple end-to-end technology and business change projects within a private sector, in-house environment
• A recognised project management qualification (APM, PMI or IPM)
• Excellent core PM discipline - planning, RAID management, governance and reporting
• The confidence and credibility to engage senior stakeholders independently
• Comfort operating with autonomy - identifying and securing your own project resources
• Strong technology literacy with the ability to translate technology for the business; flexible across Waterfall, Agile and hybrid delivery

What's on offer:

• £49,000 basic salary plus £6,000 car allowance (or company car equivalent)
• 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, with the option to purchase additional days
