We’re recruiting for an Operations Manager to join a successful and growing software business in Wakefield, with a key focus on overseeing service delivery, ticketing workflows, and operational performance.
This role sits at the heart of the business, managing the Service Desk function and ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day operations.
The Role You’ll be responsible for managing the Service Desk Manager and operational teams, ensuring tickets, dashboards, and service performance are effectively monitored and delivered.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing the Service Desk Manager and wider operations team
- Overseeing ticketing systems to ensure timely resolution and SLA adherence
- Monitoring dashboards and performance metrics to drive efficiency
- Improving processes across service delivery and operations
- Working closely with senior leadership to support business performance
- Ensuring clear reporting and visibility across operational activity
About You
- Experience in an Operations Manager or similar role within a software or tech environment
- Strong understanding of service desk functions, ticketing systems, and performance tracking
- Experience managing teams and driving operational improvements
- Data-driven, with the ability to use dashboards and KPIs to inform decisions
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
