Elevation Recruitment Group are working with one of Yorkshire’s leading businesses, who are looking to appoint an experienced Principal Consultant (SAP Finance) to take ownership of the design, delivery, and optimisation of SAP Finance solutions across a complex enterprise landscape.
This is a senior, high-impact role where you’ll set direction, influence stakeholders at all levels, and deliver scalable, future-ready SAP Finance solutions in an organisation that values innovation, control, and continuous improvement.
Duties of the Principal SAP Consultant include:
- Leading end-to-end SAP Finance implementations across GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, and Financial Closing
- Owning the design and configuration of SAP S/4HANA Finance solutions aligned to business strategy and regulatory requirements
- Acting as a subject matter expert, shaping SAP Finance architecture and best practice
- Partnering closely with senior finance, procurement, and compliance stakeholders to ensure seamless integration
- Leading SAP Fiori adoption to improve reporting, insight, and user experience
- Overseeing documentation standards, user guides, and training materials
- Resolving complex SAP Finance issues and providing escalation-level support
- Staying ahead of SAP developments and proactively identifying opportunities for optimisation
What we’re looking for:
- Deep expertise in SAP Finance with strong cross-module integration knowledge
- Significant hands-on experience delivering SAP S/4HANA Finance solutions
- Proven track record leading SAP Finance delivery across multiple, complex projects
- Strong understanding of financial compliance, audit requirements, and reporting frameworks
- SAP FI certification highly desirable
