Job Title: Procurement Process Lead - ERP System ImplementationLocation: Hull, United KingdomContract Duration: 12 Months FTC About the Role:We are seeking an experienced Procurement Lead to join our team for an ERP system implementation project. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the procurement activities related to the ERP implementation, ensuring efficient and effective purchasing processes, and aligning procurement strategies with project goals.Key Responsibilities:- Lead the procurement process for the ERP system implementation, ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition of necessary goods and services.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, finance, and operations, to understand project requirements and align procurement strategies.- Develop and implement procurement plans and strategies to support the ERP project timeline and budget.- Manage vendor selection, negotiation, and contract management processes to secure favorable terms and conditions.- Monitor and report on procurement activities, providing regular updates to project stakeholders and management.- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and best practices in procurement.- Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies related to procurement activities in the context of the ERP implementation.- Facilitate communication between suppliers, internal teams, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of procurement activities.- Support the development and maintenance of a supplier management framework, evaluating supplier performance and fostering strong relationships.Qualifications and Experience:- Proven experience in procurement, with a focus on ERP system implementation projects.- Strong knowledge of ERP systems and their procurement modules.- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.- Experience in managing vendor relationships and contract negotiations.- Familiarity with procurement regulations and best practices.- Relevant professional certification (e.g., CIPS) is a plus.- Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred.Skills:- Expertise in ERP system implementation and procurement processes.- Proficiency in using procurement software and ERP systems.- Strong leadership and project management skills.- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.£70,000 - £75,000 + PackageA site based role, within the central manufacturing hub in Hull How to Apply:Interested candidates should submit their resume and a cover letter outlining their relevant experience and qualifications to [email address] by [application deadline].
