Elevation Tech & Transformation are working with a South Yorkshire based organisation who need an experienced 2nd / 3rd Line Support Technician to join them on a temporary basis to support increased demand within their IT function.
This is an urgent requirement, so we’re keen to speak with candidates who are available immediately or at short notice.
The Role
You’ll play a key role in supporting the business across IT, hardware and infrastructure, acting as an escalation point for more complex issues while ensuring systems remain stable and users are fully supported.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing 2nd and 3rd line support across desktop, hardware and infrastructure issues
- Troubleshooting and resolving escalated technical problems
- Supporting and maintaining servers, networks and core IT systems
- Assisting with hardware builds, deployments and upgrades
- Working closely with the wider IT team to ensure minimal disruption to the business
- Supporting ongoing IT projects where required
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in a 2nd or 3rd line support role
- Strong knowledge of IT support, hardware and infrastructure environments
- Experience with Windows environments, Active Directory and Microsoft 365
- Good understanding of networking fundamentals
- Hands-on approach with excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment
