Location: London (Hybrid)
We need two highly experienced Infrastructure Cloud Engineers to join a fast-paced, mission-critical environment. These roles require individuals who can hit the ground running, take ownership, and deliver robust, secure, and scalable cloud infrastructure solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage secure cloud infrastructure within Microsoft Azure environments
- Lead on Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and Identity & Access Management (IDAM) strategies
- Deploy and manage Microsoft Intune for endpoint and device management
- Build and support Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments
- Contribute to Operational Security (OpSec) practices and continuous improvement
- Support and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) (desirable)
- Produce clear, structured documentation of solutions, processes, and decision-making
- Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and provide scalable solutions
- Work closely with stakeholders to ensure alignment with business and security requirements
You need
- Proven experience in Azure cloud infrastructure engineering
- Deep expertise in RBAC and IDAM implementation in enterprise environments
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune
- Demonstrable experience deploying and managing Azure Virtual Desktop
- Solid understanding of cloud security principles and operational security (OpSec)
- Experience documenting technical solutions, challenges, and outcomes
Additional desirable experience includes
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (eg, Terraform, ARM templates, Bicep)
- Exposure to automation and Scripting (PowerShell, Azure CLI)
- Experience working in regulated or public sector environments
This is a key role within a high-profile Public Sector programme, delivering a secure, scalable, and modern cloud-based end-user computing environment. You'll play a central role in shaping and supporting a high-performing Azure platform that underpins critical services.
You will focus on the design, delivery, and support of enterprise-scale cloud infrastructure, with particular emphasis on virtual desktop environments, identity, endpoint management, and security within Microsoft Azure.
Up to £540 per day (Inside IR35)
Initial 6-month contract
Hybrid working - London office 2 days a week (flexible)
