Product Support Engineer – Office-Based | Luton Security Systems | Electronics | Installation | Wiring | Helpdesk Salary: Up to £35,000 + Monthly Bonus Location: Luton (Office-Based)Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 17:00 Have a background in electronics, installation, or hands-on wiring? This role is for you. We’re working with a global leader in electronic security systems—trusted in over 80 countries and growing fast. With a 60+ year legacy, they specialise in innovative Door Entry, CCTV, Home Automation, Access Control, Intruder Alarms, and Fire Alarm solutions.They’re now looking for a Product Support Engineer to join their technical team at their Luton HQ.What Makes This Role Different? This isn’t your typical support desk job. This role is ideal for someone from a connected technology background—perhaps you’ve worked in security systems, AV, access control, or similar—and have real-world, hands-on experience with wiring, installing, or configuring hardware.You’ll be supporting engineers and installers, helping them resolve technical issues with confidence because you’ve been there and done it yourself.You’ll Be a Great Fit If You Have:

• A background in electronics, installations, or hands-on wiring work (security, AV, alarms, access control, etc.)
• Experience in a 1st Line Support, Helpdesk, or tech-focused customer service role
• A solid technical mindset with good fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent communication skills—confident explaining tech solutions to engineers
• Comfortable using helpdesk systems, remote support tools, and email

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Supporting engineers and customers via phone, email & remote tools
• Diagnosing hardware and software issues in security systems
• Logging and managing support tickets from first contact through to resolution
• Escalating more complex faults when needed
• Keeping up with product updates, system releases, and new tech
