Location: Remote, UK (with UK-wide travel as required) Salary: Competitive Basic Salary + Highly Attractive OTE Job Type: Full-time, Permanent About the Role Are you a proven sales professional with a track record of success in the data centre space? Our client is a dynamic and rapidly growing player in the wholesale colocation and hyperscale data centre market, delivering bespoke, large-scale solutions to some of the world's most demanding enterprises.Due to continued and significant expansion across Europe, they are now seeking a highly motivated Wholesale Data Centre Sales Specialist to join their elite commercial team. This is a rare opportunity to own and develop a territory, selling multi-megawatt deals to hyperscalers, large enterprises, and global cloud providers.This role is a remote position, offering the flexibility to be based anywhere in the UK, with regular travel for client meetings and industry events.Key Responsibilities
- New Business Generation: Proactively identify and engage with new clients requiring wholesale data centre solutions, from initial lead generation to contract closure.
- Strategic Account Management: Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key accounts, understanding their long-term growth strategies to secure repeat and expansion business.
- Consultative Sales: Act as a trusted advisor to clients, leveraging your deep industry knowledge to craft tailored, multi-megawatt solutions that meet their unique power, space, and connectivity needs.
- Pipeline Management: Take full ownership of your sales pipeline, forecasting deals, and providing accurate reporting to senior management.
- Collaboration: Work closely with our client’s pre-sales engineering, legal, and operational teams to manage the full sales lifecycle, including responding to complex RFPs and contract negotiations.
- Market Insight: Maintain a strong understanding of market trends, competitor activity, and new technologies to identify emerging opportunities.
- Direct Data Centre Sales Experience is Essential. You must have a demonstrable track record of successfully selling wholesale colocation, hyperscale, or multi-megawatt data centre space.
- Proven B2B Sales Acumen: A minimum of 3+ years' experience in a full-cycle sales role, with a history of consistently exceeding sales targets.
- High-Value Deal Closer: Experience in managing and closing large, complex, multi-million-pound contracts.
- Excellent Network: An established network of key contacts within the hyperscale, cloud, and enterprise data centre ecosystem in the UK or wider Europe.
- Self-Motivated & Driven: This is a remote role that requires a high degree of autonomy, a proactive attitude, and a strong work ethic.
