Talent Development Lead
About the role
This is a talent and leadership role working closely with senior stakeholders to design and deliver initiatives that strengthen leadership capability, support performance, and build a sustainable internal talent pipeline.
The role combines hands-on programme delivery with strategic partnering, ensuring that talent, development, and performance approaches are consistent, effective, and aligned to business priorities.
Summary of the role and key responsibilities:
- Talent & succession planning: Supporting talent reviews, identifying future leaders, and enabling internal progression.
- Leadership development: Designing and delivering programmes for managers and high-potential employees.
- Performance & capability: Enhancing performance frameworks and building manager effectiveness.
- Stakeholder partnering: Working across functions to align development activity with business needs.
- Insight & improvement: Using data and feedback to continuously refine talent and learning approaches.
You will have:
- Strong experience in talent and leadership development
- Ability to operate both strategically and operationally
- Confidence working with senior stakeholders
- A data-led and pragmatic approach
- Interest in modern learning methods, including digital and emerging tools
- Ideally coming from financial services or tech aligned business where you are used to working at pace and driving innovation.
