About the RoleAs a Product Manager for SSRN, Elsevier's preprint server, you will own one or more product features end to end, working alongside the Senior Product Manager to shape the feature roadmap. You will engage directly with researchers and scholarly communities to build a firsthand understanding of their needs, translate that understanding into product requirements, working with engineering, UX, analytics, operations, and content teams to deliver user value.

ResponsibilitiesLead discovery and delivery for your feature area within SSRN's Preprint serviceEngage directly with researchers and scholarly communities to gather, prioritise, and validate their needsFormulate problem statements and test hypotheses through data and experimentation, including A/B testingWrite clear product requirements, whether as user stories, PRDs, or specifications, and manage backlog prioritisation for your feature areaUse data to identify and prioritise production issues and defects through to resolutionLead stakeholder demonstrations at programme milestones and support launch readiness, including GTM briefing materialsContribute to the feature-area roadmap, aligned with outcomes agreed with the Senior Product ManagerRequirementsDirect experience gathering and prioritising customer requirements through structured discoveryAbility to write clear requirements across formats and manage them through deliveryExperience using data and analytics tools (Adobe Analytics, Hotjar, Pendo, or equivalent) to inform decisions and test hypothesesExperience supporting go-to-market activity and communicating with cross-functional stakeholdersFamiliarity with AI tools and services and their application to process improvement and product deliveryTrack record of delivering features against measurable outcomes, working independently across multiple workstreamsMinimum 2 days a week in the London Wall officeIf you are interested in the role, please apply with a cover letter and CV.Work in a way that works for youWe promote a healthy work/life balance across the organisation.
