Data Architect / Data Modeller NEEDED!

We’re looking for a Data Architect / Modeller to join a major programme supporting one of our market leading clients, working across modern Azure-based platforms to shape and optimise enterprise data architecture.

This role sits within the IPPC2 Programme, supporting multiple critical systems including Power Apps and .NET applications backed by Azure SQL and Blob Storage.

What you’ll be doing:

• Leading the design and optimisation of data architecture across key systems
• Reviewing and enhancing Azure SQL data models, schema, and performance
• Defining robust, scalable, and secure data solutions
• Supporting delivery teams with architectural guidance and assurance
• Contributing to testing, release planning, and production readiness
• Assessing and improving database security (RBAC, encryption, access controls, etc.)

What we’re looking for:

• Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure SQL (design, tuning, security)
• Experience with Azure Blob Storage
• Proven track record with Power Apps and .NET data integration
• Solid understanding of Azure architecture, identity, and governance
• Strong documentation and stakeholder communication skills

Location: Hybrid (in London or Birmingham)

Duration: 6 months contract
