AI Engagement Lead / Senior AI Architect (Part-Time)

Location: London (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)

Contract: Initial 6 months (part-time, 0.5 FTE)

Start: Early–Mid January 2026

We are supporting a high-profile enterprise engagement focused on enhancing a corporate lending and pricing platform through the use of Generative AI and Agentic AI.

The role will lead the AI architecture, technical direction, and client engagement, working closely with senior stakeholders and delivery teams to design and deploy production-grade AI solutions.

This is a senior, hands-on role suited to someone who can operate as both AI architect and trusted advisor, shaping strategy while remaining close to delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the AI Engagement Lead, owning the technical vision and AI architecture for the engagement
  • Design and oversee GenAI and Agentic AI solutions, including multi-agent systems, orchestration, and evaluation frameworks
  • Guide the use of LLMs, ML models, and scenario-modelling techniques to support pricing and decision-making use cases
  • Define cloud-native AI architectures on GCP and/or Azure, ensuring scalability, security, and governance
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to translate complex AI capabilities into clear, defensible business outcomes
  • Provide technical leadership to AI engineers, tech leads, and quant developers within the delivery team
  • Ensure solutions meet regulatory, data governance, and ethical AI standards
  • Support integration with existing enterprise platforms, workflows, and automated processes

Required Experience

  • 6–8+ years' experience in AI, ML, or advanced analytics, with recent focus on Generative AI and Agentic AI
  • Proven experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale AI architectures
  • Strong hands-on experience with LLMs, multi-agent systems, and ML pipelines
  • Cloud expertise across GCP and/or Azure (Vertex AI, Azure AI, ML platforms, APIs)
  • Experience working in regulated or complex enterprise environments (financial services highly desirable)
  • Ability to operate confidently with senior business and technical stakeholders
  • Comfortable balancing strategy, architecture, and hands-on technical oversight

Desirable

  • Experience supporting pricing, risk, or scenario-modelling use cases
  • Background in investment banking or corporate lending
  • Experience working within consulting or advisory-led engagements
  • Exposure to enterprise integrations (CRM, workflow automation, document systems)
