In this role, you will have the freedom to carve out your own path, sourcing and converting new opportunities while managing and growing a strong portfolio of existing customers to achieve sales targets. The role:
- Hunt new sales opportunities - proactive cold calling, this makes up 80% of the role.
- Build and maintain relationships with customers.
- Work alongside the Account Manager to produce quotations, assisting with queries.
- Proactively identify and pursue lapsed, new and existing business opportunities.
- Working towards KPI's - daily, weekly and monthly.
- Record all communication accurately in the CRM system.
- Conduct market research, including competitor analysis and prospecting for new opportunities.
The candidate:
- Must have a minimum of 24 months sales (cold calling) experience.
- Must be self-motivated and able to use own initiative.
- Understanding of CRM software such as SAP and Salesforce - desirable.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to build and maintain long term relationships with customers.
- Full UK driving licence is required.
- This role will suit a true hunter.
