We are working with a well-established, global tech business to recruit a Credit Controller on a 6-month fixed-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity to build experience within a fast-paced, international environment where each day brings new challenges.
Our client is a major player in IT workplace solutions, operating on a global scale and supporting a diverse portfolio of clients across multiple industries. With continued expansion, they are looking to strengthen their team by bringing in a proactive and organised professional who can contribute to both credit control and broader administrative support.
The Role
As a Credit Controller, you will play a key role in managing customer accounts and ensuring the smooth running of the credit control function.
- Resolve outstanding account queries directly with customers
- Monitor and manage outstanding invoices and follow up with customers regarding overdue payments
- Allocate incoming payments to appropriate accounts and reconcile discrepancies
- Upload invoices to customer portals
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with key customers
- Manage unallocated payments and process refunds
- Conduct credit checks for new and existing customers
- Preparing legal documentation where required
- Update direct debit mandates and maintain accurate records
- Assist with general ad hoc administration to internal teams
The Candidate
- Must have a Full UK Drivers Licence
- Experience in Oracle and ServiceNow is advantageous but not essential
- Highly detail-oriented with strong numerical skills
- A confident communicator with excellent customer service skills
- Organised, reliable, and able to manage multiple priorities
- A proactive problem-solver who can think on their feet
